Gynecomastia Patient 1

Description: Adam is an 18 year old student from San Antonio, Texas who came in for a consultation with Dr. Eric Schaffer for Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia). Adam has had an enlarged left breast since the age of 14. He has been very self conscious about the appearance of his chest and found it very difficult to conceal the enlarged left breast. Dr. Schaffer recommended that Adam have a surgical procedure to reduce the volume of the left breast to make his chest more symmetrical. The procedure was done in an accredited ambulatory center with general anesthesia as an outpatient procedure. Adam is very happy with the results of his surgery and said the hardest part for him was “not being able to workout at the health club for 3 weeks”.
