Age: 5Description: Emily, had been suffering from echoing and increased volume because of the shape of her ears. Her mother brought her to Dr. Eric Schaffer in hopes that the correction of Emily's ear shape would improve her speech therapy as well as her hearing. Dr. Schaffer performed an otoplasty (ear pinning) on Emily and now she is much more comfortable with the new shape of her ears.

Age: 25Description: Eric, from Laredo, was unhappy with the shape of his ears. He did not like the pointy, elf-like appearance of both his ears and came to Dr. Eric Schaffer for relief of his condition. Dr. Schaffer pinned back both of Eric's ears and also reshaped the rim of his ears. Now, Eric is much more confident in the new appearance of his ears.
